At Salesforce, our global Product UX teams aspire to make tools that make a salesperson's day more productive, a marketer's campaign more powerful, or a developer's app more feature-rich. Our UX designers craft Salesforce's enterprise and consumer products; create new design patterns and guidelines for our world-class design system; and partner with cross-disciplinary teams to bring inclusive, accessible, and human-centered experiences to life.
As a Lead User Experience Designer, you will craft the product vision to build cohesive, trusted experiences that enable customer success. You will be responsible for addressing complex problems and proposing clear, efficient, and consistent solutions through individual expertise and cross-functional influence. You will serve as a technical lead and guide fellow designers toward high-quality outcomes, using expert design strategies to drive excellence without direct management responsibilities.
The ideal candidate for this role is thoughtful, curious, and open to new ways of doing things. You have excellent communication skills and can advocate for your team's work to product managers and engineers. You set an example by advocating for end users, using research insights, and encourage your team to do the same. You are fluent in working alongside AI and bring clear judgment to evaluating and shaping AI-assisted design outputs.
If you want to use your UX skills to inspire teams, create amazing experiences, and transform the way business gets done, we would love for you to join us!

Fluent in using AI across the design lifecycle — ideation, prototyping, research synthesis, and documentation — to work faster and explore more options, while applying design judgment to validate, refine, or override AI outputs.
Ability to provide structured design context and clear instructions that enable AI to generate high-quality, consistent, and user-centered outputs, while applying strong design judgment to refine and validate the results.
Familiarity with designing for AI-driven experiences, including human-AI interaction patterns, agent-driven workflows, trust, transparency, and user control.
Commitment to responsible AI practices — including accessibility, privacy, bias mitigation, and user trust — particularly in enterprise product contexts.
Responsibilities :
Set the design vision for a product, guiding the team through its implementation, while identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Drive large-scale design initiatives across multiple application experiences, managing priorities and setting expectations with cross-disciplinary contributors.
Communicate clear and compelling ideas to a wide range of key stakeholders using documentation, reviews, and presentations.
Serve as a bridge between design, product, engineering, and quality experts, finding opportunities for new features and validating assumptions through user testing and research, to deliver a polished final product.
Design and maintain scalable design systems (components, patterns, standards) that support consistency across product surfaces.
Partner with engineering to define how AI agents surface in product workflows, informing when and how agent-driven interactions appear to users.
Promote and educate others on interface guidelines and design patterns to extend the existing style guides and design system.
Deliver software that is inclusive and universal, designed for users of multiple languages and abilities, adhering to WCAG and other industry standards.
Consider how design impacts ethics and equality — including responsible AI — and speaks up if veering off course.
Preferred Skills :
Experience fostering usage of a design system across product surfaces, not just single-purpose apps.
Hands-on experience with generative and predictive AI in a product design context.
Experience with CRM or enterprise software.
